Yay Gay!

This article came out today in Time-Out Chicago.  It's about the dearth of gay comics and gay comedy scene in Chicago (the country's comedy capital).  And Chicago just so happens to be where my ex-girlfriend and current friend (isn't it amazing when that happens?) makes a living as a stand-up comic (and nanny).  I believe at one point she was the only lesbian stand-up in Chicago (a city a nearly 3 million people), and that may well still be the case.  Anyway, she is great, and funny, and she is in the article.
